- Isn't it every girl's dream to be a bag designer? Well, it has always been mine! So, I recently started a new tote bag company, Emilie Sloan, named after my two daughters. Starting my own business has been an amazing journey! From making the bags in my home sewing room to finding a company to produce the bags, getting the bags in the stores - the process has really been fascinating and rewarding! Seeing people around town carrying my bags still makes me pause and pinch myself. :) On the personal side, I love designing and sewing purses/clothes, gardening... I'm a typical wife and mother of three great kids; Madison Sloan (18yrs), Emilie (14yrs) and Logan (8yrs). We live in an older home in Seattle, WA, near many family members and great friends.
